Lucio Portaro graduated from the Federico II University in Naples with a dissertation on Human Rights Protection Procedures entitled “Exhaustion of domestic remedies under Article 35.1 ECHR and assessment of constitutional legiti-macy”.
As part of his university career, he spent a period of study and thesis research in Spain, first at the Universidad de Sevilla and, subsequently, at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.
He has been on the register of practitioners of the Milan Bar Association since 2018.
After a brief period in a primary boutiquein Milan working in the field of labour law, since November 2018 he has been working with IUSWAY (formerly Pensa-Rossi Galante-Boccardi-Papa).
His professional activity is concentrated in the field of criminal law with particular focuson so-called corporate criminal law (corporate offences, offences against property, offences against the public administration, environmental offences, tax offences, occupational safety, medical negli-gence, 231 forms).
He assists the firm’s partners in advising and defending natural and legal persons in court.
He provides assistance in Italian, English and Spanish.
